Port forwarding
Open the Port Forwarding feature tab to create tunnels. Free and Pro both include forwarding.
Directions
- Local → remote: listen on the SSH host (or beyond) and forward to a service on your machine—useful when a peer or remote process needs your local app.
- Remote → local: listen on your laptop and forward to a port on the remote host—bring a remote database, API, or admin UI to
localhost.
Tips
- Prefer binding to
127.0.0.1on the local side unless you intentionally expose a port. - Reconnect restores configured tunnels when the SSH session returns.
- Detect listening ports on the remote host from the same panel.
